Part Two – Implementing and Evaluating

TASC Process
Questions to consider
Implement

Let’s do it!
Am I making progress through the plan?
Yes
Am I doing this correctly? You may need to review your goal for this activity.
I need to check that I have got all of the tools and have used them one way or another in my assignment.
Do I need to revise my plan? As you continue, you may discover facts that require changing the plan.
No I have done it the way I planned.
Am I satisfied with the text/graphics/pictures that I have created?
Yes considering the images were all last minute.

Evaluate

How well did I do?
Did I complete the task as originally set out? Did I solve the problem?
Not having my laptop. Yes I got my laptop back from iss.
Is the text as interesting or informative as intended?
Yes its not boring and something you don’t want to read.
Are the graphics and images appealing?
They are average because they were last minute.
What have I done?
I have cropped images I have put frames in and I have given lots of facts.
What have I done really well? Is there anything that stands out as particularly good?
No not really.
Is there anything that needs improvement? Should I go back and redo anything?
Maybe spend more time on my draft because my poster didn’t turn out exactly as I wanted
Am I ready to communicate my ideas or show/display my work to others? Is the poster ready to be shown to others?
Yes.
Communicate

Let’s tell someone!
(You may have answered some of these questions early on during the planning stages.)

Who can I tell? Who is my audience?

My audience is really for all the people who have a website on any web page.
What is the best way to present this to my audience?
A way that people can read it and that they can relate to it.
How do I interest other students in my particular subject?
Because most Dio students have a website/web page and this warns them about the dangers of the internet.
Did I include the right text/graphics/images to inform and appeal to other students?
Yes because my work stands out like everyone elses but they are all different. What’s happening in the image will happen to people in their life time.
Learn from experience

What have I learned?
If I had to start this activity all over again, how would I improve my performance? Would I change my work habits? Would I use a different subject or different design? Would I only make small changes?
The only thing I would have changed would to start earlier.
How have I improved since that last time I worked on a similar task?
I have paid more attention and found out more information.
Have I learned anything about my subject or about appealing to others or about presenting information?
Yes I have learnt that its dangerous to give out your password to even your best friends.
Can I use that elsewhere?
Yes.

How has my thinking changed as a result of this work?

It has made me think about how really serious cyber space is and it should only really be used with a parent or guardian around.
What skills have I learned and developed?
I have learned how to use gimp and to crop an image.
Can these skills be applied to other subjects/activities?
Yes.
What problems did I have to solve? Were there obstacles in developing ideas, researching material, or presenting the material? How were they overcome?
I had to do it in a very short time limit because my laptop was at ISS
How did I use the strengths of others to help me?
I used Katie as my ‘model’.
